About California
California is a state on the west coast of the United States of America. It is adjacent to Oregon, east of Nevada and Arizona, south of Mexico, west of the Pacific Ocean, and has an area of 411,900 km² (the third largest in the US, Alaska and Texas). The capital of California is Sacramento.
The state is named „The Golden State“ thanks to its sunny climate and the period of the “Gold Rush“. Measured by the number of inhabitants, California is the most populous state in the United States.
The climatic and geographical advantages of the country make it one of the most popular residential and tourist areas in the USA. The landscape is diverse: beaches along the Pacific Ocean, mountain ranges of the Sierra Nevada and sand dunes in the desert. 
About Santa Barbara (locals call it SB. We like to shorten everything)
The nearby city of Santa Barbara is located in the State of California in an ideal location, about 2 hours north of the film and commercial metropolis of Los Angeles, about 6 hours south of the streets of San Francisco, 6 hours from Las Vegas, and about 2-3 hours to Disneyland. The city of Santa Barbara with about 90 000 inhabitants, is located directly on the Pacific Ocean and between the Santa Ynez mountains. In the city center there are endless opportunities to go shopping, but you can also visit the theater, concerts and museums.
Furthermore, clubs, restaurants, festivals of all kinds, as well as a wide expanse of white sandy beaches, all kinds of sports are offer. There are no high rise buildings in the city, the rule is that the tallest building shall be no greater than the largest palm tree. For the most part smaller houses in the Spanish style complete the landscape. Due to the mild climate, the city is surrounded by a floral display throughout the year. This combination brings the year a very pleasant Mediterranean weather with it, that Santa Barbara, along with many well-known residents of the media, earned the reputation as the „American Riviera“. – Simply Paradise.

The city of San Luis Obispo is located in a quiet green valley, surrounded by hills and volcanic mountains. San Luis Obispo, or SLO, as is affectionately called by locals, is a beautiful small town, a few minutes from California’s Pacific Coast, between Los Angeles and San Francisco. SLO has a lot to offer, be it shopping, restaurants, theaters, concerts and the famous Farmers Market with music, food and entertainment.
San Luis Obispo is located approximately 13 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, offering 315 days of sunshine a year, nearly perfect weather. The typical American town center offers many shopping and cultural attractions. It is ideal for exploring on foot, thanks to its size and offers numerous shops and restaurants also several historical landmarks.
Influenced by the California Polytechnic University (CalPoly), offers the small town a vibrant nightlife for young and old. Many restaurants and bars offer „Live Music“ and dancing. In addition, the festival offered promote local musicians, such as the famous summer concert series on the mission court. Beautiful beaches with a variety of options are easy to reach and visitors enjoy hiking and biking on the mountain trails and along the coast. The atmosphere is everywhere „laid back“. Here you will find tourists, surfers as well as cowboys.
Not surprisingly that San Luis Obispo was elected as „most livable“ city.
